Flights delayed due to thick fog in Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 19 (IBNS): As many as 40 flights were affected in Delhi for poor visibility owing to dense fog on Friday morning, media reports said.

About 13 International flights and 32 domestic flights were reportedly delayed at the Delhi airport as a large part of northern India is battling severe cold wave.

The mercury also dipped to 7.4 degrees Celsius in the capital registering one degree below the season’s average.

Sources said extreme cold conditions in Himachal Pradesh reportedly claimed at least 30 lives so far.
