Goa logs 1,794 new Covid cases in last 24 hrs

Panaji/UNI: With 5,597 samples tested in the last 24 hours, Goa recorded 1794 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday, the health department said.

At present, the state has 18,197 active cases.

According to the daily bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), 8 more people lost their lives due to the infection during the past 24 hours taking the toll to 3,623.

However, there were 2522 more recoveries pushing the recovery rate to 90.62 per cent.
