India's COVID-19 daily positivity rate declines to 7.98 pct

New Delhi: India's COVID-19 daily positivity rate dropped to 7.98 percent while  1,27,952 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday.

During the same period, 2,30,814 people recovered from the deadly disease.

In the past 24 hours, 1059 died due to COVID-19.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 13,31,648.

Active cases stand at 3.16 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 95.64 percent.
