Tremors felt in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Apr 13 (IBNS): Tremors were felt in different parts of Bangladesh as a moderate earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter Scale hit Myanmar - India Border Region on Wednesday, media reports said.

People rushed out of their houses in Dhaka and  Chittagong following the quake.

According to reports, mobile phone network was disrupted for sometime.

No casualty has been reported so far.

The epicentre of the quake was located at latitide 23.0 degrees north and  longitude 94.9 degrees east and at a depth of 134 km.
