AI adoption gets boost: TCS, Google Cloud launch Gemini Experience Center in Mexico

Tech leader Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Google Cloud have set up a new Gemini Experience Center (GEC) in Mexico City, TCS’ second in Latin America and the ninth worldwide.

Located in TCS’ Mexico City office, the new facility will empower organizations in the region with advanced AI capabilities and help accelerate the development of solutions that drive innovation, productivity, and data-driven decision-making.

The newly launched GEC is equipped with over 3,000 industry- and context-aware AI agents built by TCS with Gemini Enterprise that integrate seamlessly into customer environments. Some of these AI-led solutions were demonstrated during the launch, including intelligent process assessment, fraud investigation for financial institutions, automated insurance claims processing, and generative AI-powered data acceleration.

Javier Carrique, Head of Partners & Alliances for Latin America, Google Cloud, said, “As artificial intelligence reshapes how organizations compete and create value, unlocking its full potential depends on giving businesses the right environment to adopt and apply AI with confidence. The Gemini Experience Center in Mexico is a powerful example of how our partner ecosystem is helping turn that vision into reality.”

Marcelo Wurmann, CEO, TCS Latin America, said, “The Gemini Experience Center, launched by TCS, brings advanced AI capabilities closer to enterprises in Mexico, helping them turn ideas into practical, scalable solutions. Together with Google Cloud, we are creating a space for organizations to explore how technology can transform their operations and add greater value.”

TCS will combine its consulting, engineering, and innovation capabilities with Google Cloud’s technology ecosystem at the new GEC. It will help organizations bridge the gap between experimentation and the implementation of AI solutions, reducing the time required to achieve business outcomes.

The center will support the development of industry-specific solutions across financial services, retail and consumer goods, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, and energy and utilities, tailored to the region's unique business needs.

The launch of the GEC in Mexico City is part of TCS’ global strategy to expand its network of innovation centers. It reaffirms TCS’ commitment to advancing responsible AI adoption by fostering collaboration among businesses, specialized talent, and technology to scale digital transformation in the country. In 2025, TCS launched its first GEC in Latin America in São Paulo, Brazil.

TCS has been present in Mexico since 2003 and today serves more than 260 clients through a workforce of over 12,000 associates. This new center further strengthens Mexico’s position as an innovation hub for Latin America. With operations in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Querétaro, and Monterrey, Mexico is a strategic market for TCS in Latin America.
