Assam Education Minister distributes appointment letters to specially-abled candidates

Guwahati: Assam Education Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu on Tuesday ceremonially distributed appointment letters to 280 nos of specially abled candidates to the the post of regular teachers in a programme organized by Directorate of Elementary Education at PWD convention and training centre Dispur.

It may be mention that 193 nos of candidates have been appointed on lower primary, 75 nos on upper primary and 12 nos are appointed as science teachers on upper primary schools.

As the chief guest Dr Pegu in his speech said that under the  leadership and able guidance of the Assam Chief Minister a revolutionary change has come where teachers are appointed by organizing TET examinations in free and fair way.

He asked all the candidates to think positively and move forward in their coming days with an aim of serving the nation involving in the profession of teaching.

The Minister also further mention in his speech that the education department has been working relentlessly for the infrastructure development and other related works of the schools.

Dr Nani Gopal Mahanta, Adviser to Education department, Rukma Gohain Baruah, Chairman AHSEC, Dr Bijoya Choudhary, Secretary to Education department and Suranjana Senapati, Director Elementary Education were also present in the programme.
