New Delhi Oct 11 (IBNS): DLF Place Saket here with its continued efforts to work for the benefits of the society has once again launched its campaign 'Say No to Fire Crackers' which has been carried by the mall over the years.

The campaign was launched with an activity of Diya, Candle and Diwali Greeting Card making in association with NGO Deepjyoti.

More than 30 kids from the NGO participated in the activity. The kids were allowed to use the medium of their choice for their painting. While some used crayons, others preferred oil paints, water colours and even colour pencils. The children came up with very innovative greeting cards to spread the awareness. The whole initiative was immensely supported by Café Delhi heights.

Benu Sehgal (VP, Mall Management, DLF Utilities) said: “Being the top shopping destinations of Delhi, We have always utilized the platform to spread the social messages through various activities and events. This campaign is not only about the keeping the environment clean but also it is a sincere attempt to spread awareness about the social evil prevailing in the society i.e child labor which is majorly exploited in the fire cracker factories.”

Also, Kids can participate in the campaign by sending their artworks and posters and artworks on the facebook page of the DLF Place Saket . Selected ones will be gratified with the exciting gift hampers.
