Durga Puja: Guwahati witnesses colourful pandals ranging from Ram Mandir to Pandora of Avatar

Guwahati: The Durga Puja pandals in Assam’s capital city Guwahati have been decked up with different themes to attract the people.

Apart from Chandyaan II, Ayodha’s Ram Mandir was built at a Durga Puja pandal in Guwahati.

The Bishnupur Sarvojanik Puja Committee, which is celebrating its 69th year, build up a replica of Ayodha’s Ram Mandir this year.

On the other hand, Bishnupur Bimala Nagar Sarbajanin Durga Puja Committee has designed their puja pandal as Pandora of Avatar with the floating hills.

The famous characters from the film Jake Sully and Neytiri also designed in the pandal.

The devotees have offered their prayers to Goddess Durga at different Puja pandals in Guwahati on the day of Maha Navami.
