Kokuyo Camlin announces 'Camel Art Contest - 2015'

Mumbai, July 1 (IBNS): Kokuyo Camlin Ltd, a stationery and art manufacturer, has recently announced the launch of the world's largest contest for children, 'Camel Art Contest - 2015', previously known as the All India Camel Colour Contest (AICCC).

The 42nd edition of the annual ‘Camel Art Contest’ have plans to target one crore students.

Bollywood actress Esha Deol unveiled the brochure of ‘Camel Art Contest - 2015’, which has the honour of being in the ‘Guinness World Records’ and have now become a household name among educators, parents and students.

This year yet again it is going international after witnessing an admirable participation last year from many countries other than India. With topics for Indian schools like Fun at School, Incredible India, Clean India, Making Learning Fun, Women Empowerment and for International schools - Wonders of the World, World peace, My Universe and Fun with Nature, Kokuyo Camlin is aiming to make this edition of the contest bigger this time.

Students from Class Nursery to Standard 12 can participate as per the allotted topic.

The number of schools that participated last year was 9,816 and number of students that was a part of ‘Camel Art Contest’ was a whooping number of 7,595,944.

Announcing the Camel Art Contest to the media, Saumitra Prasad, Chief Marketing Officer, Kokuyo Camlin Ltd, said, “We are proud to announce Camel Art Contest 2015 and all the more excited to have plans devised to achieve the target of one crore students. Through Camel Art Contest we want to promote art amongst kids’ right from their formative stage by providing a platform for sharing their thoughts, ideas and feelings. Like every year, we look forward to active cooperation and support from the participating schools, parents and children, thereby emphasizing the importance of art in one’s life.”
