Tech giant Meta has unveiled a new line of AI-powered smart glasses developed in partnership with EssilorLuxottica, marking the company's latest push into the rapidly growing wearable technology market.

Announcing the launch, Meta said the new collection builds on the success of its AI glasses platform while introducing fresh designs, premium materials, and enhanced functionality.

"Building on all the technology and features of the world's best-selling AI glasses, this new line features bold and timeless shapes, rich colors, and premium materials," the company said in a statement.

Priced from $299, the new Meta Glasses are positioned below the latest Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, which start at $379, potentially making them more accessible to a broader consumer base.

Three Distinct Styles

The new collection includes three frame designs tailored to different tastes and lifestyles:

Meta Adventurer – A clean rectangular frame offering a classic and versatile look. Available in both Standard and Large sizes.

Meta Fury – A bold and expressive design aimed at users seeking a more distinctive appearance.

Meta Glasses by Kylie – A slim oval-frame model created in collaboration with entrepreneur and influencer Kylie Jenner, inspired by her personal style.

Meta said the glasses are compatible with prescription lenses and offer a wide range of color and lens combinations to suit individual preferences.

Key Features

The new Meta Glasses come equipped with a range of AI-powered and multimedia capabilities, including:

Meta AI Integration: A dedicated action button allows users to quickly access Meta AI or customize shortcuts to favorite features.

Open-Ear Audio: Built-in speakers provide high-quality audio for calls, music, podcasts, and audiobooks while allowing users to remain aware of their surroundings.

Advanced Microphone Array: Enhanced wind-noise reduction technology ensures clearer voice calls, messaging, and voice commands.

Hands-Free Capture: Users can take photos and videos without using their hands, helping them stay engaged in the moment.

Privacy Controls: Built-in privacy safeguards and user-controlled settings help manage data sharing and respect the privacy of others.

Extended Battery Life: The glasses offer more than eight hours of usage on a single charge.

Portable Charging Case: A foldable charging case provides up to 40 additional hours of battery life.
