Kolkata / Mumbai, Aug 24 (IBNS): India's iconic beauty brand Lakme has teamed up with ace Delhi designer Namrata Joshipura for a unique show at the upcoming Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015.

The Lakmé Insta Light Show by Namrata, will showcase a collection inspired by Lakmé’s latest skincare innovation, Lakmé Insta Light - a unique blend of skin lightening crème and mineral powder that promises to give you evenly lit up skin in an instant.

Scheduled on 28th August 2015 (Day 3 of LFW), at Palladium Hotel, the Lakmé Insta Light runway will see an impactful combination of LED lights and projected images that will light up Namrata’s creations.

Her collection will be the perfect metaphor for Lakmé Insta Light crème that promises to light up your skin instantly.

The play of intermittent light bouncing off garments will enhance the drama quotient of the show, giving attendees a fluid glimpse of reality.

This will set the stage for a youthful and modern collection that glows and sparkles, juxtaposed against edgy music.

Giving a sneak-peek into the collection, Namrata said, “Taking inspiration from Lakmé’s latest skin care innovation Lakmé Insta Light, my collection aims to set the stage for a youthful and modern collection that glows and sparkles. Iridescence and shine are the primary elements of my collection and I am achieving this through both surface embellishment and interesting selection of fabrics.  I feel Lakmé Insta Light is very fashion forward – similarly, the silhouettes that I am presenting are sharp, sexy and of the fashion moment.”

Talking about Lakmé’s association with Namrata, Purnima Lamba, Head - Innovation, Lakmé, said “In a fast-paced world instant solutions are key, so why not get an instant glow on the go. Inspired by backstage styling, Lakmé Fashion Week is the perfect stage to bring alive our newest skin launch, Lakmé Insta Light. With Namrata Joshipura, we will once again light up Lakmé Fashion Week."
