WB Guv visits Army Institute of Management Kolkata

Kolkata, Feb 3 (IBNS) West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi on Tuesday made a special address to the students and faculty of Army Institute of Management Kolkata (AIMK) titled "Igniting Young Minds" at the Alipore campus.

The Governor was welcomed by Lt Gen Raman Dhawan, GOC Bengal Area & Chairman AIMK and Maj Gen (Dr) SC Jain, (Retd) Director AIMK.

The Army Institute of Management Kolkata was established on July 28 , 1997 by the Army welfare Education Society (AWES), New Delhi to offer ‘Quality education at affordable cost’, specially to Army wards and for general category also.

The Institute is ranked as A++ category B-School in the country and offers a full time ‘AICTE approved Two-year residential MBA programme, which is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).

The Institute has a strong alumni base of over 1700 students working successfully in the corporate world.
