Kolkata/IBNS: The Young Leaders Forum of Indian Chamber of Commerce organised the sixth edition of the YLF Pride of Bengal Awards last week, to honour personalities of Bengal from the fields of music, film, fashion, business and sports.

"I have been working for 17 years now. But this is the first time that I have been awarded in Bengal, so I feel really blessed and great," said actress Mouni Roy.

Actor and humanitarian Rahul Bose said, "As an actor or a Rugby player, if awards are won it's good but if not, even after that you should be happy with the quality of work that you do. Getting the Pride of Bengal award feels so lovely that I think my father would have been proud."

"For the first time in ages I have received an award in Kolkata. It feels so nice. I have said my real name on stage, Ashutosh Ganguly and obviously so many people deserve awards, so I'm lucky to be one of them," said singer Ash King on receiving this award.

The event was hosted by Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia along with 16 other eminent luminaries who have contributed to their respective industries and communities. These awards marked a recognition and represents the grit, creativity, and passion of Bengal.

On hosting the award ceremony Neha Dhupia expressed her thoughts and said, "Coming from Mumbai, we don't know much but to come here, discover, explore and to see the sea of talents. In an award show like this which is completely dedicated to people from Bengal and to be a part of this I feel very very honoured."

"I didn't expect to get an award for the most stylish actor of Bengal. I don't even try hard to be stylish but yet I got this award, I'm very pleased," said actor Indraneil Sengupta.

The evening was graced by celebrities of Bollywood and Tollywood industry including, Mouni Roy, Rahul Bose, Tillotama Shome, Lisa Ray, Nyrraa M Banerji, Indraneil Sengupta, Mamata Shankar, Ash King and others. After this, YLF added a new segment to their event as the internal awards to celebrate their own members.
