4.7 earthquake hits Assam, no casualty
Guwahati, Oct 23 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter Scale hit Dhuburi area in Assam on Sunday.
The epicentre of the quake was located at Latitude 25.9 degrees North and Longitude 90.1 degrees East and at a depth of 10 kms.
IMD has called the intensity of the quake as 'slight'.
The quake occurred at 21:26 hours.
No casualty has been reported so far.
