Assam gears up for New Year celebrations
Guwahati, Dec 31 (IBNS) : With the countdown for New Year going on, Assam is ready to embrace the celebrations on Saturday.
Guwahati, the capital city of Assam and various areas of the state, are gearing up to celebrate the New Year.
In Guwahati, several hotels have arranged parties tonight and on Jan 1 for the New Year celebrations.
On the other hand, the Guwahati city police has decided to opt for prosecution for those violating traffic norms this New Year.
