Ayodhya judgement day: Karnataka CM appeals for peace and harmony
Bengaluru, Nov 9 (UNI) Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Saturday appealed the people of the state to maintain peace and harmony in the society, ahead of the Ayodhya case verdict, which would be delivered today.
In a tweeter message, Chief Minister has said that “As the Supreme Court gives its verdict on Ayodhya case today, let us accept it with equanimity”.

“Let us respect the constitution and the Judiciary system of the nation” he added.
Meanwhile, a state-wide alert has been sounded across the state, as a precautionary measures to prevent any untoward situation.
The Deputy Commissioners in several districts, had clamped prohibitory orders in sensitive places in their respective districts.
Bengaluru city Commissioner, Bhaskar Rao, had also informed that prohibitory orders under section 144 had been issued in the entire city effecting from 0700 hours to 12 noon.
An order had also issued banning sale of liquor in the entire city and had also banned any kind of celebrations and protests in the city.
The Commissioner had informed that more than 8000 police personnel had also been deployed to oversee the law and order situation.
