Badaun: DNA of accused not found on victims' clothes
New Delhi, Aug 19 (IBNS): The forensic report in the Badaun gangrape and murder case has revealed that the DNA of the accused has not been found on the clothes of the victims, reports said on Tuesday.
Media reports said that the FIR filed by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was wrong and it looked like a case of honor killing.
Two Dalit minor sisters were allegedly gangraped and then hanged from a tree at Katra village in Badaun district on May 27.
The cousin sisters, aged 14 and 15 respectively, were reportedly missing since May 27 night.
Earlier this month, the accused were found to be true in stating that they were not involved in the gangrape.
The CBI had said that a lie-detection test carried on the five accused arrested in connection with the Badaun case did not find "any deviation" from their earlier claim of innocence.
