Bihar: Drunk officer of commercial tax department arrested

Muzaffarpur, May 29 (UNI) Police arrested drunk officer of commercial tax department near Bharat Wagon roundabout under Kazi Mohhamadpur police station area in the district late last night.

Police said here today that a person was arrested in an inebriated condition from a car near Bharat Wagon roundabout. Later, the arrested person was identified as Ravindra Kumar, posted as DEO in the office of Tirhut Divisional Additional Commissioner of the Commerce Tax Department.

Sources said Ravindra Kumar who is a native of Nayatola in Muzzafarpur town has been sent to jail.
