Patna/UNI: With Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inching towards the BJP to form NDA government, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav said he will not let Kumar take oath easily in alliance with NDA.

Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said they will not let Nitish Kumar take oath so easily.

Talking to news persons here on Saturday, Tejaswi Yadav claimed to enjoy adequate strength, and being the largest party it should be given the opportunity to form the government.

He said in case the opportunity was not given, RJD will stage dharna before Raj Bhavan.

Claiming to have the majority figure with him, Lalu Yadav said he would open his cards once Nitish Kumar resigns.

RJD has convened a crucial meeting this afternoon at Tejashwi Yadav's official residence in Patna to decide its future course of action.

Meanwhile, JDU spokesperson Neeraj Kumar alleged that confusion prevailed in the RJD camp and there was no confusion in the JDU.

Retorting sharply at the statement of Lalu-Tejaswi for not letting Kumar take oath easily, the JDU leader said that the people are supreme in democracy.

Kumar further said the arrow (party symbol) was with JDU and no one can target it. He said Nitish Kumar would hit the target at an appropriate time.

JDU MP Sunil Kumar Pintu also stated that Nitish Kumar was not comfortable with RJD and it had become difficult for him to function smoothly.
