Bihar: Woman among six drowned

Begusarai, Nov 10 (UNI) Six people including a woman drowned under various police station areas in this district today.

Police said here that a woman and three children drowned in a pond when they were

collecting snails from the pond at Harakhpura village under Garhpura police station

area. The bodies were fished out from the pond with the help of local divers.

On the other hand, two children drowned in a pond while taking bath in it at Mojahidpur

village under Bhagwanpur police station area.

Sources said villagers rescued another child from drowning.

The bodies had been sent for autopsy, police added.
