B'lore school rape: Hyderabad schools install CCTV system
Hyderabad, Aug 2 (IBNS): In the wake of the gangrape of a six-year-old student in a Bangalore school, some schools in Hyderabad have installed closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to ensure safety of their students, reports said.
Parents have been given access to the live footage of the camera through a mobile application.
Krishna Chaitanya, parent of a 3-year-old child, told CNN-IBN: "I can watch my child whenever I want. On safety concern, its very convenient. I feel confident."
This comes after a six-year-old student was allegedly raped inside the international school on July 2 by two gym instructors who had been arrested later.
