Congress-DMK join hands for Tamil Nadu Assembly polls
Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and others met DMK supremo M Karunanidhi over the issue of forming the alliance.
Azad called the DMK as the most 'dependable partner'.
"We & Karunanidhiji will be fighting elections together; DMK has always been the most dependable partner," Azad tweeted.
He said: "DMK and Congress will fight the Tamil Nadu assembly polls together; I am more than sure we will form Govt under the leadership of DMK party."
Tamil Nadu will elect a new Assembly this year.
