New Delhi: Senior Congress leader and Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi late Tuesday evening, March 24, 2026, due to feeling unwell from weather changes, sources said.

The 79-year-old Gandhi, battling chronic respiratory issues exacerbated by Delhi pollution, underwent routine observation under a team of doctors, with no serious concerns reported.

"A team of doctors is attending to her, but there is nothing serious," sources said, as quoted by PTI.

This follows a January admission for similar cough and chest problems, from which she recovered. Family members, including Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, were present.

Updates are awaited as she remains under supervision.
