Delhi: Wife kills husband with son's help, chops off body into 22 pieces and stores them in fridge

New Delhi/IBNS: In a eerie similarity with the Shraddha Walkar murder case, a wife has allegedly killed her husband with the help of her son, chopped off his body into 22 pieces, stored them in refrigerator and later disposed in the east Delhi neighbourhoods, media reports said.

The Delhi Police said the woman killed her husband after suspecting her of an extramarital affair.

Scanning the CCTV footage from the area where the body pieces were found, police found the woman and her son visiting the place several nights.

Police found Anjan Das, the victim, had been missing from Delhi's Pandav Nagar for the last six months.

Das' family had not filed a complaint with the police either.

Police said Poonam and Dipak, the two accused, killed Das in June after making him unconscious with sleeping pills.

In the earlier Delhi murder case which sent shockwaves across the country, 28-year-old Aaftab Ameen Poonawala killed her live-partner Shraddha, chopped off her body in 35 pieces and dumped them across the city over a period of time.

Aaftab, who was arrested, has admitted his murder.
