Former Bengal leader Pankaj Banerjee passes away, Mamata Banerjee mourns
Kolkata, Oct 27 (IBNS): Former Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly and a founding member of the Trinamool Congress Pankaj Banerjee died in Kolkata on Friday.
Banerjee was 71.
He was a three-time legislator.
He is survived by his wife and daughter.
"Saddened at the passing away of Pankaj (da) Banerjee. My condolences to his family and admirers," Banerjee tweeted.
