Gandhi addresses at AIMC National Council meet

New Delhi, June 11 (IBNS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday addressed at the National Council meet of Mahila Congress where he urged women leaders of the party to identify with everyday struggles of women on ground.

"#RahulGandhi speaking at the AIMC National Council meet,urged Mahila Congress leaders to identify with everyday struggles of women on ground," Congress tweeted.

"Congress VP #RahulGandhi,today called for a roadmap of action for the Mahila Congress (AIMC) with the aim of reaching out to every household," the party posted on its Twitter homepage.

The Congress vice-president urged party leaders to work towards the social, economic and political empowerment of women in the country.

The two-day  National Council meet of Mahila Congress concluded on Wednesday.
