GRP recovered two pistols with ammunition from Avadh Assam Express at Guwahati

Guwahati, Oct 17 (IBNS): The Government Railway Police (GRP) team recovered two pistols with ammunition from Down Avadh Assam Express at Guwahati railway station on Wednesday night.

According to the reports, the GRP team had seized two point 22 mm pistol and 22 rounds live ammunition from a bag inside the train during checking.

Rajveer Singh, SP of Railway Police, Guwahati said that, the arms and ammunition were recovered by the GRP team from the Down Avadh Assam Express during checking.

The top Railway police officer further said that “there is no arrest in connection with it and our investigation is going on.”
