Hyderabad: Major fire breaks out in shopping complex, multiple shops affected

Hyderabad/UNI: In the early hours of Wednesday, a massive fire broke out in a shopping complex at Habsiguda, in the city.

The blaze originated in the Unlimited Bar and Restaurant and spread to a clothing showroom on the second and third floors of the complex, engulfing several other shops.

Upon receiving the information, four fire tenders rushed to the scene and successfully extinguished the flames.

However, thick smoke emitted from the complex affected the surrounding areas.

As a precautionary measure, a nearby petrol bank was temporarily closed to avoid any potential hazards.

Preliminary investigations by the police suggest that an electrical short circuit may have been the cause of the fire.

Authorities have registered a case, and a thorough investigation is currently underway.
