Hyderabad: Under-construction multi-storied building collapses, 1 killed

Hyderabad, Dec 9 (IBNS): At least one person died as an under-construction multi-storied building collapsed in Nanakramguda area of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, reports said on Friday.

Police have rushed to the spot after the mishap.

More than 10 people are still feared to be trapped under the debris.

Rescue operation is currently going on.

"The building was poorly constructed and flouted norms in the materials used, hence the collapse,"  Bonthu Rammohan, Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation was quoted as saying by NDTV.
