India’s BRICS 2026 logo unveiled — Here’s what it symbolises

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar on Tuesday unveiled the logo, theme and official website of India’s BRICS Chairship 2026 at an event held in New Delhi.

The BRICS India 2026 logo symbolises inclusivity, dialogue and shared growth. Blending tradition with modernity, the design features petals in the vibrant colours of all BRICS member nations, representing collective strength and unity.

At its centre, the “Namaste” gesture conveys warmth, mutual respect and harmonious collaboration.

The theme for India’s BRICS Chairship is “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability”, drawing inspiration from the Prime Minister’s vision of “Humanity First and People-centric” development for the BRICS grouping.

Dr. Jaishankar also launched the official website, brics2026.gov.in, which will serve as a comprehensive platform for sharing updates, initiatives and information related to India’s BRICS Chairship.

The launch event was attended by representatives of BRICS member and partner countries, officials from international organisations, senior government officials, resident commissioners of states, think tanks, members of the media, and other distinguished participants.
