Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces launch CASO in border villages of 3 districts

Jammu/UNI: Security forces on Tuesday launched cordon and search operation (CASO) in three border district of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.

Official sources here said that the security forces launched search operation in Samba and Kathua villages after reports of some suspicious movement in the area.

They said that searches were launched in the wee hours and were in progress.

The sources added that there were reports related to some suspicious movement after which searches were launched in these villages.

Meanwhile, CASO was also launched in several villages of Rajouri district after reports about the 'suspicious movement' in the area.

An official said that the villages are located at a distance of two kilometres from Rajouri town and are thickly populated area.

He said that there were reports about some suspicious movement in the area, following which a cordon and search operation was launched.
