J&K: 2 militants killed in encounter
According to reports, security forces launched a massive operation after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
"When security forces moved towards them, hiding militants opened fire on forces with automatic weapons," said a senior police official.
During the gunfight, two militants believed to be locals were killed while operation was on when last report came.
