J&K: Security forces gun down unidentified militant in Srinagar

Srinagar/UNI: Security forces gunned down an unidentified militant in a brief gunfight in Darbagh Dhara area of Harwan in Srinagar during the wee hours on Sunday.

Police confirmed that an unidentified militant has been killed during a gunfight at

Harwan area of Srinagar and searches in the area are going on, a police tweet said, "#SrinagarEncounterUpdate: 01 unidentified #terrorist killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice".

Further details are awaited, police added.
