Lucknow: 4 injured as wall collapses

Lucknow: Four persons, including three children, were injured when a wall of an under-construction building collapsed in Ashiyana area on Saturday, a senior police officer said here.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), East Prachi Singh said that around 1:10 pm information was received that the wall of an under-construction building in Risha Colony had collapsed.

"The police reached the spot and a rescue and relief operation was launched immediately. Four persons were buried under the debris and they have been sent to Lok Bandhu hospital," she said.

She said that the injured have been identified as Gokul Rawat (13), Anil (10), Mani (11) and Shubham (22). Condition of Anil is stated to be serious.
