Maharashtra: Woman, son commit suicide
Palghar, May 11 (UNI) A woman and her son allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at their residence in Virar township in this district of Maharashtra.
Preliminary reports indicated that the duo took the extreme step on Friday due to financial problems, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Vinay Prakash Chowgule (26) and Saraswari Chowgule (42).
Neighbours, who found the duo dead, alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
