Man detained for sexually exploiting, enticing minors in Kashmir's Bandipora

Srinagar, May 9 (UNI): The City police have arrested a man for sexually exploiting and enticing minors in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, a police spokesperson said on Thursday.

He said a complaint was lodged by a local resident that one Ghulam Hassan Sofi, son of Ghulam Rasool Sofi, resident of Nasoo Bandipora was enticing minors with money to sexually exploit them at his godown. The complainant's son too was lured by the accused for wrongful attempt. However, his son escaped from the clutches of the accused and informed his parents, spokesman said.

Acting on the complaint the police filed a case againt Sofi and arrested him. Further probe is on, the spokesperson added.
