Torez, July 20 (IBNS) Rebels have taken control of the bodies which were recovered from downed Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 in Ukraine, media reports said on Sunday.

"The remains of up to 196 people from the MH17 crash in Ukraine have been loaded on to refrigerated rail wagons, to be taken to an unknown destination," BBC reported.

"The rebels say they will hand MH17's flight recorders to the International Civil Aviation Organization," it said.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, carrying 298 people, was en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it crashed on Thursday in eastern Ukraine, near the Russian border.
