Modi Govt should start ‘Nyay Yojana’ for poor: Rahul Gandhi

| @indiablooms | Jun 30, 2020, at 05:32 pm

New Delhi/UNI:  Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said in the last three months, Corona has ruined the country and the poor are devastated, so the government should start a ‘Nyay Yojana’ to help the poor.

In a video message, Gandhi said, ''In the last three months, Corona has caused tremendous damage to the people by destroying country’s economy, which has caused a lot of damage to the people. The poor, laborers, middle class and working class have suffered alot.''

He said that to deal with this situation, he suggested the government three to four times to implement a scheme like 'Nyay Yojana’.

''At least run the scheme for six months and deposit Rs 7,500 per month in the bank account of every poor family, but the government refused. They have denied three-four times and gave the reason that there is no money,'' he said.

“I want to remind the country that the government had waived tax of millions of crores of 15 richest crony capitalists and in the last three months the government has increased the prices of petrol and diesel and 22 times the price of petrol and diesel Increased. There is no shortage of money. If the government has Rs three lakh crore, then Mr Modi implement a scheme like 'Nyay Yojana’, run it for six months and give Rs 7,500 per month to every poor family.
