Lucknow, Jun 10 (UNI): Senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Monday said that Ram temple will be constructed at Ayodhya under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as people want that construction should start at the earliest.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday he said that Ayodhya is the birth place of Lord Ram and everyone want that a temple should be constructed there.

“Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath too wants that Ram temple should be constructed there and the construction of same will start under the leadership of Yogi and Modi,” he said.

Raut, who is MP, said that Shiv Sena has high hopes from Narendra Modi and will follow his words.

Earlier, he met Yogi where he discussed proposed tour of Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackrey to Ayodhya on June 16. He is supposed to visit the temple town with 18 newly elected MPs.

“The Shiv Sena and BJP got a resounding victory in Maharashtra because of the aashirwad of Ram Lalla. It is a thanksgiving visit of Sena MPs. Uddhav thackrey too wanted to have a darshan of Ram lalla because he has a blind faith on him so he decided to visit Ayodhya,” Raut said.

The Chief Minister has ordered that Shiv Sena delegation should be given a status of state guest.
