Mumbai waterlogged after heavy rains
Mumbai, July 11 (IBNS): With Mumbai facing incessant rains since the last two days, certain areas in the city like Hindmata, Mahim junction, Kurla west and Chembur have been waterlogged.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) disaster management, however, said the situation is under control, CNN-IBN reported.
The lakes have not filled up yet, however, a high tide alert of waves as high as 4.36 metres was sounded on Friday morning.
Meanwhile, in a relief to Mumbaikars, local trains are running smoothly.
