Srinagar: Jammu witnessed massive Navratri celebration this year with a large number of devotees participating in the annual Hindu festival.

The hub of the celebration was  Katra town which is located at the base of the Mata Vaishno Devi Cave shrine.

The temples were crowded with worshippers throughout the days. A massive influx of visitors visited the Raghunath Temple, Rambeshwar Temple, and Bagh Bahu Temple in Jammu, reports Newz Track.

Singers from Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of the country participated in the events related to the festival held between Sept 26 to Oct 4.

The district administration had made particular provisions for the festival's smooth organisation with the help of the Jammu Municipal Corporation and other departments. In order to prevent any difficulties for the devotees, extra care was taken to maintain the temple grounds at this period. Reasonable security arrangements were also made, reports the news portal.
