Odisha: Two killed, 3 critically injured in truck-motorcycle collision

Bhubaneswar/UNI:  Two people including a woman were killed and three others critically injured in a freak road accident on NH-16 at Haridamula under Khallikote Police station in Odisha’s Ganjam district.

Sources said the accident occurred after a truck carrying edible oil from Andhra Pradesh to West Bengal skidded off the road, overturned and hit a motorcycle and car on Sunday night.

The deceased included the woman and the truck driver. The injured included the brother and son of the woman and the helper of the truck.

The injured were rushed to Khalikote CHC but later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital Berhampur after their condition deteriorated.
