Pakistan: Landmine blast claims 14 lives
Islamabad, Apr 25 (IBNS): A passenger van hit a landmine in Godar area of Pakistan's tribal Kurram Agency, killing at least 14 people on Tuesday, media reports said.
The incident left several others injured.
"Ten people were killed, including a woman and one child," Shahid Ali Khan, assistant political agent for Kurram Agency in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), was quoted as saying by Geo News.
The injured people were rushed to hospital for treatment.
Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has condemned the incident.
