A 19-year-old Indian national died in Dubai after falling from a building while taking photographs of aircraft in the Deira area, local media reported.

The victim, identified as Mohammed Mishal, was from Kozhikode district in Kerala. He had arrived in Dubai around 15 days earlier to visit his cousins, family friend Haneefa K.K. told Gulf News.

The incident occurred on Friday evening, November 7, 2025.

According to the report, Mishal had gone to the terrace of a multi-storey building to photograph flights approaching the nearby airport.

“He was passionate about photography. His leg is believed to have gotten stuck between two pipes, causing him to lose balance and fall,” Haneefa said.

Mishal was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

He was the only son of his parents.

His father runs a restaurant in Kozhikode.

Haneefa described him as “a talented boy with an entrepreneurial mind” who was pursuing a diploma in civil engineering and had been discussing business plans during his visit to Dubai.
