PM Modi greets Maneka Gandhi on birthday

New Delhi, Aug 26 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted Union Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi on her birthday.

Praying for her long and healthy life, the Prime Minister tweeted, "Birthday greetings to WCD Minister @Manekagandhibjp. I pray for her long and healthy life."

Gandhi, 60, is the mother of politician Varun Gandhi and the widow of late Indian politician Sanjay Gandhi, the son of India's first and only female Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the younger sibling of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

She is also an environmentalist and an  animal lover.
