PM Narendra Modi contributes Rs. 2000 to BJP fund ahead of Lok Sabha polls, urges all to donate

Indian PM Narendra Modi on Sunday donated Rs. 2000 as a 'party fund' to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and urged countrymen to do so ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

He posted on X: "I am happy to contribute to @BJP4India and strengthen our efforts to build a Viksit Bharat."

Urging people to do the same, he said: " I also urge everyone to be a part of #DonationForNationBuilding through the NaMoApp!"

BJP releases first list of candidates

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday unveiled its first list of 195 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Narendra Modi to fight from Varanasi for third time

Indian PM Narendra Modi will contest the poll from Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi seat.

This is the third time the PM will be contesting the polls from the politically crucial seat.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been fielded from Gandhinagar seat in Gujarat.

PM Narendra Modi and his BJP are eyeing to return to power for a record third consecutive term.

It will facing the challenge of Congress-led INDIA opposition for the first time in the general polls.

Modi has already set a target of 370 seats in the polls.
