Police arrest three persons with two AK-56 rifles in Assam’s Dibrugarh district

Guwahati, June 28 (IBNS): Assam police arrested three persons, including two women, and seized two AK-56 rifles and other items in Assam’s Dibrugarh district on Thursday.

According to the reports, based on intelligence inputs, Dibrugarh district police stopped a Mahindra Bolero vehicle, which is bearing registration number AS-23N-0173, at Mohanbari bypass near Lahoal area and seized two AK-56 rifles with two magazines, army uniform and other items from the vehicle.

Police also arrested three persons, including two women, who were travelling in the vehicle coming from Nagaland’s Dimapur area to Changlang in Arunachal Pradesh.
