President of India’s message on the eve of Independence Day of Latvia

New Delhi, Nov 17 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Latvia on the eve of their Independence Day (November 18, 2016).

In a message to the President of the Republic of Latvia, Raimonds VÄ“jonis, the Indian  President said “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I have great pleasure in extending warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the people of the Republic of Latvia on the occasion of your Independence Day.

Our two nations share warm and cordial relations. I am confident that through our fruitful cooperation, the close ties between our two nations will grow stronger in the years to come, to the mutual benefit of our two peoples.

I avail this opportunity to convey my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Latvia."
