President of India’s message on the eve of National Day of Czech Republic

New Delhi, Oct 27 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and the people of the Czech Republic on the eve of their National Day (October 28, 2016).

In a message to the President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, the Indian President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the people of the Czech Republic on the occasion of your National Day.

India and the Czech Republic enjoy close and friendly relations marked by our shared views on many global issues and strengthened by our mutually beneficial economic and trade engagement. I am confident that our close cooperation will continue to expand in the years to come.

Please accept my best wishes for your Excellency’s personal good health and well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Czech Republic."
