SER to run seven pairs of weekly specials between Santragachi, Puducherry

Kolkata, Nov 8 (IBNS): Keeping in view of huge rush of passengers, South Eastern Railway (SER) has decided to run seven pairs of special trains between Santragachi-Puducherry-Santragachi from Nov 19 to Jan 2 next year.

"The Santragachi-Puducherry Special (06009) leaving Santragachi at 2.10 PM every Monday will reach Puducherry at 8.15 PM, the next day. In the opposite direction, the train (06010) leaving Puducherry at 7.15 PM every Saturday will arrive Santragachi at 4.30 AM on Monday," reasd a government statement.


The special train will have one AC 2 tier, one AC 3 tier, seven sleeper class and six general second class coaches.
